When we look ahead, we see a world that is powered by data and AI. The way organizations leverage this information, while safeguarding their digital ecosystems, will be crucial in determining their business outcomes.

That’s why the unveiling of dozens of new product features and enhancements to our OneTrust Platform is as prescient as it is necessary. We believe it is our responsibility to enable trust by design for our customers and partners so they can maximize their full potential.

Our product teams continuously innovate to empower our customers to achieve more, enhancing solutions that are fundamental to our platform.

We’re looking at this product release through two key lenses — enhancing data and AI capabilities, and proactively mitigating risk.

Activate data responsibly

To unlock the value of data and AI, we must first know what data we have, where it is, and what it’s doing. With a deep level of data discovery, we can enable you to harness the power of AI to unlock even more outcomes.

New features around data and AI include:

OneTrust Data Discovery Enhancements: An enhanced Data Classification Engine simplifies configuration and customization for structured and unstructured data, offering more than 300 out-of-the-box classifiers for improved accuracy.
All-New Data Policy Engine: Automatically identify data that violates your configured policies. Rules-based data policies automatically flag violations based on data discovery scans, giving visibility into data risk that should be remediated. And with new Duplicate File Detection capabilities, you can automatically identify duplicate data to reduce redundancies and lessen the attack surface.
AI Governance Innovations: Govern the use of AI without slowing down innovation. A new AI Inventory Graph and Enhanced Data Graph visualize the components of the AI systems in use so users can understand dependencies.
New Cookie Consent Capabilities: Enhanced Website Scanning Engine surfaces all trackers on a website and reduces customer scan times. AI-assisted Cookie Identification and Categorization significantly decreases the number of unidentified cookies per scan to minimize manual categorization.

Surface and mitigate risk

There are hundreds of compliance and risk standards across different teams that any organization must adhere to. That means there needs to be a unified way for all those teams to work together so they can be effective and efficient when surfacing and mitigating risks.

New features and enhancements around risk include:

OneTrust IT & Security Risk Management: Dynamic Risk Workflows reduce time spent manually reviewing risk from one workflow state to the next.
Third-Party Risk Management: Users can streamline vendor evaluations and AI Governance with Third-Party AI Usage Tracking. Teams can now ensure effective risk management as it relates to third parties’ use of AI.
Compliance Automation Streamlines Capabilities: Be empowered to centrally manage and automate compliance initiatives across regulations, standards, and frameworks. Users can connect to external systems, automatically collect evidence, and map it to controls with Automated Evidence Collection.
